Welcome

I am an Associate Professor of Economics in the Heider College of Business at Creighton University.  I am also a Senior Fellow for the Fraser Institute and a Scholar in the Menard Family Institute for Economic Inquiry.

My primary field of research is Institutional Economics and Public Economics with an emphasis on the role of property rights and regulations. I seek to examine how the market economy and access to the market impact economic development and human flourishing.

I enjoy interacting with my students not only in the classroom but also through leading student research and reading groups and utilizing the economics of sports and sports analytics.

Here you will find my CV, recent research papers and working papers, information on my teaching, and my contact information.
